Why you heard from us. We email UK limited companies about a website chat assistant we think could help them. We only email businesses that are registered companies, at a business email address the company publishes on its own website.
What we hold and where it came from. Your company’s name, website, business email address, postcode and company number. We found these on your public website, OpenStreetMap and Companies House. We don’t buy lists and we don’t guess email addresses.
Our lawful basis. Legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): telling businesses about a relevant service. Electronic marketing to companies is allowed under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations as long as you can opt out, which you can at any time.
Your demo. If you open the demo link, we read your public website to build it. It’s deleted after 30 days. We record when it was opened and the questions asked, to see whether it’s useful. Questions typed into the demo are answered by an AI service (Groq, Inc., USA), which sees only the question and the relevant parts of your public website.
How long we keep it. If you don’t reply, we stop after three emails and delete your details within 12 months. If you opt out, we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so we never email you again.
Your rights. You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object at any time: reply to any email or write to ceo@damondynamics.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
