Web Design West Yorkshire: Websites, SEO and AI Tools from £249

Web design West Yorkshire businesses can rely on starts with a simple idea: a website should bring you customers, at a price you know before you start. Damon Dynamics builds fast websites from £249, keeps them climbing Google with SEO plans from £99 a month, and adds AI tools that answer customers and take repetitive work off your hands.

We are based in Bradford and work with businesses across all five West Yorkshire districts. This page covers our prices, how to plan a website when you serve several towns, and the AI tools that can sit alongside it.

Web design across West Yorkshire’s five districts

West Yorkshire is made up of five districts, each with its own mix of towns and businesses. We work with all of them, and because almost everything happens online, the price and timeline are the same wherever you are.

  • Bradford, including Shipley, Bingley, Keighley and Ilkley. This is where we are based. See our page on web design in Bradford.
  • Leeds, including Horsforth, Pudsey, Morley, Otley and Wetherby. See our page on website design in Leeds.
  • Calderdale, including Halifax, Brighouse, Elland, Sowerby Bridge and Hebden Bridge.
  • Kirklees, including Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Batley, Mirfield and Holmfirth.
  • Wakefield, including Pontefract, Castleford, Ossett and Normanton.

The website your business needs depends far more on what you sell and who buys it than on which of these towns you are in. A florist in Hebden Bridge and a florist in Wakefield need much the same website. What changes is the places they name, the photos they use and the searches they compete for.

Who is your website for?

Before choosing a package, it helps to be clear about which kind of business you are, because each one needs a different kind of website.

Shops, cafés, salons and clinics

If customers come to you, your website has to make the visit easy: where you are, when you are open, what you offer, prices or a menu, parking, and a quick way to book or call. Your Google Business Profile and its map listing will often matter as much as the website itself.

Trades and mobile services

If you go to your customers, you are a service-area business. Your website needs to say clearly which towns you cover, show real examples of your work, and make it effortless to ask for a quote. Pages for your main areas can help a lot, as long as each one is genuinely useful.

Professional services

Accountants, solicitors, consultants and therapists sell on trust and expertise. Your website needs a strong about page, a page for each service and articles that answer the questions clients ask before they make contact. People may read several pages before getting in touch, so the writing matters.

Businesses that sell beyond West Yorkshire

If you sell online or work with clients across the UK, location matters less and content matters more. Your website should be built around the problems you solve and the searches your customers make, wherever they are.

Charities and community groups

West Yorkshire has a huge number of charities, community groups and social enterprises, and their websites have a different job to do. They need to explain the cause clearly, make it easy to donate, volunteer or ask for help, and keep information about services accurate and up to date. Many also handle sensitive enquiries, so forms and any AI tools have to be set up with data protection in mind. Our guide to AI tools for charities covers the options for small teams, including free and discounted tools.

Planning area pages the right way

If you serve several West Yorkshire towns, it is tempting to create a page for each one by copying the same text and swapping the town name. Google treats those near-identical pages as low quality, and they can drag the whole site down. Area pages only work when each one is genuinely different.

  • Start with the areas that matter most. Two or three strong area pages beat twenty thin ones. Pick the towns where you get the most work, or want to.
  • Give each page real local detail. The jobs you have done there, the kinds of properties or customers you see, how quickly you can get there, local photos and reviews from customers in that area.
  • Answer local questions. Parking, travel time, whether you cover the surrounding villages, and anything that is different about working in that area.
  • Link them sensibly. Your main service pages should link to the area pages, and each area page should link back to the services it covers.

Google’s guidance on spam policies describes these copy-and-paste pages as doorway pages. Avoiding them is one of the easiest ways to stay on the right side of Google.

Each area page has to earn its place.

An example: planning a website for a joiner in Calderdale and Kirklees

To show how this works in practice, here is how we would plan a website for a typical service business. This is an illustration, not a client story.

Imagine a joiner based in Brighouse who fits kitchens, doors and staircases across Halifax and Huddersfield. Most of the work comes from recommendations, but a lot of people search for things like “kitchen fitter Halifax” before they ring anyone. A Business website at £499 might look like this:

  • Home page saying exactly what he does and where, with photos of recent jobs and his Google reviews.
  • Three service pages: kitchens, doors and staircases, each with real photos, typical starting prices and the questions customers usually ask.
  • Two area pages: one for Halifax and one for Huddersfield, each describing real jobs in that area, how quickly he can visit and which nearby villages he covers.
  • A contact page with a short quote form, click-to-call and his service areas.
  • A blog to answer questions like how long a kitchen fit takes, added over time.

His Google Business Profile would be set up as a service-area business covering Calderdale and Kirklees, with the same name and number as the website. With a steady trickle of reviews and an article or two a month, that site has a realistic chance of showing up for local searches within a few months.

Google Business Profile for service-area businesses

If you visit customers rather than having them visit you, you can still have a Google Business Profile. Set it up as a service-area business, hide your home address if you work from home, and list the towns and districts you cover. Then keep it active: add photos of recent work, post updates, answer questions and reply to every review.

Your website and your profile should support each other. Use exactly the same business name, phone number and service areas on both, link the profile to your website, and make sure the website mentions the same towns your profile lists. Google’s own tips for improving local ranking are worth reading.

SEO plans that keep your website climbing

A website on its own rarely climbs Google. It needs a steady supply of useful pages, regular checks and someone watching the numbers. Our SEO plans are run by Connor, the in-house AI team that also grows our own site, with Damon reviewing everything before it goes live.

  • Local SEO, £99 a month. Google Business Profile optimised and posted to monthly, on-page fixes, Search Console and Bing set up, one researched article a month and a monthly ranking report.
  • Growth SEO, £199 a month. Everything in Local SEO, plus four researched articles a month, every article checked against a 95-point SEO checklist, and rank and impression tracking for every page.
  • Pro SEO, £349 a month. For competitive markets, with eight articles a month, older pages rewritten when they stall, competitor keyword tracking and a quarterly strategy call.

Most websites see movement in two to three months. We will never promise a number one spot, because nobody honest can.

AI tools that go beyond the website

Damon Dynamics is an AI studio first, and that is where we can help West Yorkshire businesses most. Many small firms lose hours every week to jobs that software can now do reliably, as long as a person stays in charge of anything important.

  • AI chatbot for your website, £99 a month. Built from your own website, it answers customer questions day and night and points people to you when they are ready to book. No setup fee, live within 3 working days, and it works on almost any website. Try a free demo.
  • AI tools and automation, from £549. Quotes, invoices, email replies, reports, data entry: whatever eats your week. You get a working prototype in one to two weeks at a fixed price, connected to the tools you already use, with a human check before anything important goes out.

Moving from an old website without losing visitors

Many West Yorkshire businesses already have a website, often built years ago by a friend or an old supplier. Moving to a new one is straightforward, but a few steps protect the visitors and rankings you already have:

  1. Find out where everything is registered. Check who controls your domain and your email. If the domain is in someone else’s name, get it transferred to you first.
  2. List your existing pages. Any page Google already shows in search should either keep its address or redirect to its replacement, so visitors and rankings carry across.
  3. Keep your email working. If your email runs on your domain, the switch must not touch those settings. This is the step that most often goes wrong.
  4. Update your Google Business Profile. Make sure it links to the new site and that your name, number and areas match.
  5. Check Search Console after launch. It shows any broken pages or errors so they can be fixed quickly.

We handle all of this as part of a rebuild, at the same fixed prices as a new website.

Working with us from anywhere in West Yorkshire

Most projects run entirely online, which keeps them quick and keeps the price down. You tell us about your business by email or a call, we agree the package and the price, you send your logo, photos and service details, and we build. You review the site before launch, with rounds of changes included, and we handle the domain, launch and submission to Google and Bing.

You always deal with the same person. Damon Chandio, an AI engineer with an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from the University of Hull, builds every website and tool himself. We reply to every message within one working day.

If you would rather talk things through on the phone or a video call before deciding, that is fine too. Tell us what suits you when you get in touch.

Why work with Damon Dynamics

  • Fixed prices. You know the total before we start, with no day rates or open-ended phases.
  • You own everything. Domain, hosting, website and data stay in your name, and everything is documented so you are never locked in.
  • Built by an engineer, not a template reseller. We build our own products on the same stack, including Plainly Benefits and WaitWell, so our advice comes from what works in practice.
  • Honest about results. We tell you when a website or an AI tool is not the right answer, and we never promise rankings we cannot control.

Web design West Yorkshire: common questions

Do you work outside Bradford and Leeds?

Yes. We work with businesses in all five West Yorkshire districts, including Halifax, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Dewsbury and Keighley, and with businesses elsewhere in the UK. Most of the work happens online.

How much does a website cost?

A Starter website is £249, a Business website £499 and an AI-powered website £899, all at a fixed price. Domain and hosting are paid separately to the provider, usually £5 to £15 a month.

Should I have a separate page for every town I cover?

Only if you can make each one genuinely useful. Two or three strong area pages with real local detail work better than many copied pages, which Google can treat as spam.

Can you help if I work from home and do not want my address shown?

Yes. You can set up your Google Business Profile as a service-area business with your address hidden, and your website can list the areas you cover instead of a street address.

Can I add the AI chatbot without a new website?

Yes. The chatbot is added to your existing site with one line of code. It costs £99 a month with no setup fee and can be cancelled any time.

How quickly will I see results from SEO?

Most websites start to move in two to three months. You can follow progress in Google Search Console, which we set up for every site.
